Meghan Murphy hand-picked her team slowly and with great care. Her therapists provide highly personal, individualized treatment for children in a variety of settings—and they value continuing education too.

Meghan Murphy, MA, CCC-SLP

Meghan has been a speech and language therapist for over 10 years and is the owner/therapist of Meghan Murphy and Associates, LLC. Meghan graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2000 and then went on to earn her Masters in Arts in Communication Sciences from Northwestern University.  Read more...

 

 

Caryn Goodman, MA, CCC-SLP

Caryn has been a speech-language pathologist since 2002. After receiving her Masters Degree from NYU, Caryn stayed on the East coast to provide speech therapy to students in the New York City Public School system. She works with children in both elementary and middle school and is experienced with children from birth to age 3.  Read more...

Tracy Sloan, MA, CCC-SLP

Tracy received her Bachelor of Science from Marquette University and her Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado. She has been practicing full time in the public school setting for 13 years as well as working with Meghan Murphy and Associates. Tracy primarily focuses on children with phonological delays, language delays, autism, behavior disorders, and fluency disorders.  Read more...

 

 

Amanda Markowski, MA, CCC-SLP

Amanda has worked in the field as a speech and language therapist since 2008 and has worked with Meghan Murphy and Associates for over 2 years.  Growing up in Georgia, it was a great fit for Amanda to pursue her Bachelor degree from the University of Georgia.  She then moved to the Midwest to earn a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush Medical Center in Chicago.  Read more...

Adria Leno, MS, CCC-SLP

Adria received a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2005. She is an energetic and enthusiastic therapist with clinical experience in a wide variety of settings, including therapeutic schools, hospitals, nursing homes and clinics. Her experience with clients from birth through geriatrics has given her a true lifespan perspective.  Read more...

Brittany grew up in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area where she developed a passion for speech therapy at a young age. She attended the University of Wisconsin where she received both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology.  Read more…



Kim Whitney, MS, CCC-SLP

Kim Whitney earned a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in 1998. After graduating from Ohio State, Kim enrolled at Columbus State Community College for a post-graduate degree in Interpreting and Transliterating American Sign Language.  Kim worked as an Education Interpreter in the Cleveland area from 1999–2002 and in the Chicago area from 2002–2003, providing sign language interpretation for students ranging from 10 to 18 years of age.  Read more…

 

 

Shari Brokowsky, Program Coordinator & Administrative Assistant

Shari Brokowsky graduated from Whittier College with a BA in Kinesiology and a minor in Art History.  While at Whittier, she played for their varsity lacrosse team.  After graduating, Shari worked for a few years before finally realizing that she wanted to pursue a career in Speech Language Pathology.

Sarah Ahlm, MA, LCSW

Sarah holds a degree in social work from the School of Social Work Administration at the University of Chicago. She has been working with children and families for 13 years specializing in understanding the impact of developmental differences on behavior. Sarah focuses much of her work helping children with sensory processing disorder, learning differences and ADHD to successfully function at home, school and with peers.  Read more...

 

 

Ari Graff, Psy.D.

Ari is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist.  He received his doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and completed the postdoctoral neuropsychology program of the Fielding Institute.  Ari has practiced in a range of residential, medical, and school settings, and he enjoys collaborating with schools, medical providers, psychotherapists, and learning specialists.  Read more...
